One Good Meal

For more than 25 years, One Good Meal has been delivering meals to Lee’s Summit shut-ins and elderly. Monday through Friday volunteers serve up and deliver 130+ meals to those in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

Our Top Needs

Roberta was awarded the Perserverance Award at the Lee's Summit Cares Mayor's Characters breakfast!

Resillence, Perserverance, and endurance through tough challenges. Roberta has been leading One Good Meal for almost 20 years. One Good Meal provides 130-120 meals a day  delivered M-F 52 a year. That is a lot of food going out, So Roberta faces new challenges every day. Drivers get sick? No problem…. 6 months of desserts get stolen? She's got this…. Need to raise $17,000 within a week? Consider it done. Roberta has made it a mission to feed every hungry person, elderly and shut in. She takes great joy in providing scholarships for the many who cannot afford it. No one gets turned away.
